Forming from the ashes of the duo’s previous act, Murdryck, Åskog formed 2020 and quickly put out the demo; Varg. One year later they release Varþnaþer, their debut full-length album.

Åskog is thematically based on the cold and harsh brutality of nature, and Varþnaþer presents great Swedish black metal forged by the fires of old.
